Multidisciplinary research and training activities are conducted in the rural landscape of the Collemeluccio-Montedimezzo Alto Molise Biosphere Reserve (UNESCO)<\/a>, a hilly-mountainous area of 25268 ha, with a mixed landscape matrix representative of Mediterranean mountain mixed-species forests, with deciduous and coniferous stands as the main component, interspersed with grasslands and scrublands.<\/span><\/h5>\r\n
